Have some boxes!

In an effort to get ready for our move (that we don't know when/if it'll happen... but it's heavily rumored this summer) we decided to go through our attic. We knew we had some boxes in there that we didn't want to be moved to the next place - movers will literally pack everything even if you have something set aside that you tell them not to pack ;)

So last weekend Greg and I spent an entire morning taking EMPTY boxes out of the attic. Wow... I think we have a "save every box" complex! Heavy trash/recycle was this Wednesday... so out it all went to the garage. Look at this pile!

I can't believe this was all in there, I really had no clue we saved so many boxes!! LOL! Thank goodness their traveling days are over (some of these boxes came with us from Chicago!).

Busy being busy! And a Preschool Graduation

I wish I wasn't so MIA right now... oh heck who am I kidding, I've been AWOL! ;)

Just been busy being BUSY. Seriously... I don't really have proof of what we've been up to (picture or productivity-wise)... I just know each night I've been falling into bed completely exhausted. I even let the camera battery die and have yet to recharge it!

Luckily for the iPhone we have gotten SOME pictures lately. Most noticeably... Jake's PreK Graduation!! We got a sitter for the younger two so we were able to just focus our attention on Jake... that itself was really nice.

He IS a bit of a nut ;)

My first loves at our favorite sushi place afterwards!

I can't believe my first baby is FIVE and going to Kindergarten next year! He's ready and we're ready to enter the world of full time school and all the fun, excitement, milestones and adventure that comes with it!

Found this quote... it really resonates with me right now...

"It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself." ~Joyce Maynard

Sneak Peek of Family Pics!

The weekend before last Greg's parents were in town to visit. We decided it'd be a good time to also get family pictures done since we'd have two extra adults on hand. I think it went well, we'll see ;) Although, she treated us with a sneak peek... and it's promising for sure! Love it!
